Bridging the gap between people in need and those who serve
Katherine Deacon has become an integral part of the SCRC operations since joining in May of this year. Already she has offered more than 180 hours of service hoping to “be a catalyst for making positive changes for our community”.

We believe that bringing together a coordinated service response activates incredible power to our citizens. Our vision is to create and maintain a strong network of collaboration between all of those who serve our Bonner and Boundary County residents. We have created an extensive database of resources and have developed the tools to make matching needs to services easier. We recognize that there are both formal and informal service providers in our community.
We recognize that life sometimes gives you unexpected and difficult challenges. We also have discovered that it is not easy to find and navigate your way through potential solutions….both people and actions….that can help you be successful in getting back on track. We have developed high powered tools and relationships with members of our Bonner and Boundary County communities that can help make it easier to access all the help that is available. Our all-volunteer staff strives to create the place where you can email, come in or call and know that we will make every effort to source the right referral match to meet your needs.
